Finding forever homes

Mixed-breed
We found Luna on Kakheti Highway. By ear tag we managed to locate her owner and called him, but he refused to take her back and told us not to bring her. She was diagnosed with Leishmaniasis and we treated her with Milteforan. The treatment was completed on December 31. She is now on Allopurinol. Her blood tests are good. We cannot return her to the street, because harsh living conditions could weaken her immune system. That, in turn, could trigger a relapse of the disease. She has a wonderful, gentle personality. She clearly has a strong body and she is very beautiful. She is female, and the girl who had her spayed named her Luna. Unfortunately, we do not have enough physical or financial resources to keep her long-term. We truly hope to find her a loving family who will care for her and never abandon her again. She is so kind that after everything she has endured, she deserves a loyal and devoted home. Luna was vaccinated when she was younger, at the time of her spay surgery. We are planning to vaccinate her again in March. P.S. updated info: On February 22, we visited Vet and the results were perfect - she has gained weight, her coat is in excellent condition, and her blood work results are excellent. The doctor scheduled the vaccination for April.
