About the service

Adopt.ge connects people with rescue animals, rescuers, fosters, organisations, clinics, and other animal-welfare resources in Georgia. We provide the platform, but we do not guarantee that any animal, person, organisation, or service listed is available, suitable, or verified.

Accounts and applications

Give accurate information, keep your login secure, and take responsibility for activity on your account. We may approve, reject, suspend, or remove accounts, applications, or listings for safety, moderation, animal-welfare, or legal reasons.

Your content

You confirm that you have the right to share any photos, videos, or other content you submit. You allow Adopt.ge to display, store, edit, translate, moderate, or remove it to run and promote the platform. Do not submit false, abusive, unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

YouTube videos

Pet videos are uploaded to the official Adopt.ge YouTube channel through YouTube API Services. They stay private until reviewed, then may become unlisted and be embedded on the pet's profile. Moderators may hide or delete them. By using this feature you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and Google handles data under its Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can revoke Google account access at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

Third parties and payments

Adopt.ge does not sell animals, provide veterinary or transport services, process donations, or make final adoption decisions. Those arrangements involve third parties with their own rules and fees. Pet promotion funds, which are separate from donations, are used only for paid ads for the named pet. Fees, currency conversion, or ad-platform billing may affect exact amounts.

Chat and automated tools

The chat and automated tools can make mistakes. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, veterinary, or emergency advice, and do not share sensitive personal details in chat.

Prohibited use

Do not spam, scrape, hack, impersonate, harass, upload malware, collect data without permission, publish unlawful content, or use the site for animal abuse, fraud, or unsafe transfers. We may block access and report misuse.

Privacy

Personal data and cookies are covered by the Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, which form part of these terms.

Changes

We may change the site, its features, or these terms at any time, and we do not promise uninterrupted service or that all content is current.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Adopt.ge is not liable for indirect losses, third-party conduct, failed adoptions, inaccurate user content, or outages of external services. This does not limit liability where the law forbids it.
