We found him abandoned in the rain near a restaurant. His leg was broken, so we took him to the vet that same night. After the X-ray, it turned out that his leg was shattered in three places. We had to choose between amputation or letting it heal as it was, which would leave it deformed. We decided to save the leg. He stayed at the clinic for two days, and since then, he has been with us on our balcony. We are giving him antibiotics and have already treated him for worms. His leg no longer hurts. Although it is deformed and he limps, he can put weight on it and will likely use it better over time. He has the best manners of any puppy we have ever rescued. He has a unique appearance and is incredibly intelligent.
