Finding forever homes

Mix breed
Berta lived in the center of Tbilisi, on Rustaveli Avenue. One day, she disappeared, and after four days of searching, volunteers finally found her, exhausted but safe. That was when the decision was made not to return her to the streets. Since then, Berta has been living in foster care, waiting for her family. Berta is about a year old and is wonderfully affectionate, open-hearted, and people-oriented. She loves spending time with people and other dogs, but she doesn’t need constant attention — she is perfectly happy relaxing or entertaining herself on her own. She has behaved beautifully at the vet and during grooming, staying calm even through unpleasant procedures. She also learned to get into the car by herself on her very first try. Busy city life doesn’t bother her either: traffic, noise, and everyday street triggers don’t make her anxious. It feels like Berta has already experienced quite a lot in her first year of life, and now she prefers the simple things — a calm routine, good company, and a peaceful life. 🤍
