Finding forever homes

This lovely boy and his brother once had an owner, but unfortunately, they were not properly fed or cared for. Chickens from the neighbourhood would sometimes enter their yard, and the dogs would chase and kill them (they didn’t eat them). Because of this, a neighbour threatened to shoot them. Their lives were in danger, so we stepped in and took them to safety. Today, he is in a secured shelter in Tbilisi, where he has been living for months, waiting for someone to give him a chance. He is a very shy and sensitive boy. At first, he can be timid and frightened, but once he learns to trust you and feels safe, his true personality comes out: he is warm, affectionate and loving. He is not aggressive towards other dogs, although he can sometimes try to assert dominance, particularly around food. He doesn’t need a perfect home. He needs patience, understanding, and a person who will give him the time he needs to feel safe and loved.Months have passed behind shelter fences. He deserves to experience what it feels like to belong to someone, to have a home, and to finally be someone’s beloved dog. He is waiting for his person. ❤️
