Finding forever homes

We first heard this little girl's cries right outside our windows in Sololaki, Tbilisi, where we live on the ground floor. When we rushed outside, we found a tiny, skinny kitten who was limping and completely alone. She immediately snuggled against our chests, seeking warmth and comfort. We searched the area for her mother or other cats, but couldn't find anyone. We took her to a veterinary clinic that same day, where she tested positive for feline coronavirus (FCoV). A few days later, she was also diagnosed with feline calicivirus and giardiasis. She spent several weeks receiving veterinary care, and we visited her as often as we could. Despite everything she went through, she recovered remarkably quickly and grew into an incredibly playful, affectionate, and energetic little kitten! She is now staying with a foster carer while completing her prescribed treatment for Giardia. Her calicivirus symptoms have resolved, and she is doing much better. Follow-up testing for Giardia is planned, and her first vaccinations will be arranged as soon as her veterinarian considers it appropriate. Unfortunately, we cannot keep her permanently because we already have an adult cat at home, and they need to remain separated while she recovers. Sunny is a wonderful little girl who loves attention, affection, and playing. After everything she has survived, she deserves a safe, loving home and a family of her own. We are looking for responsible, loving adopters who can give Sunny a safe and permanent home. Homes without other cats are currently preferred while she completes her recovery. However, we are also happy to consider families with other cats, provided they can arrange proper separation initially and follow veterinary advice before introducing the animals. We will gladly provide her complete medical history, veterinary records, and supplies to help her settle into her new home. Please help us give Sunny the happy ending she deserves!
